Your child isn't a number here and relationships come first.
Our early education approach encourages curiosity in an environment uniquely designed for your curious toddler, enriching their development through connection, independence, and exploration.
We support their transition into routine, rhythm, & relationship-based learning through co-regulation.
Early Playschool is designed for walking toddlers who are ready to move beyond the infant environment while still needing the connection, rhythm, and responsive care of early toddlerhood.
At this age, they are discovering their bodies, voices, environment, and the exciting realization that they can begin doing things for themselves. They are learning that school is safe, predictable, and a place where they belong.
Young toddlers learn through movement, imitation, sensory, repetition, and relationships. This class emphasizes Waldorf in early education by helping toddlers adjust to a group schedule, develop fine motor skills, language development, abundant sensory play, and introduces emotions.
Teachers model emotional awareness and provide co-regulation through big feelings, helping children gradually develop the foundation for emotional regulation, communication, and secure relationships.
Toilet learning is gently introduced as they begin showing interest and readiness, while supporting body awareness and independence without rushing the process.
Walking, self-feeding, and a single afternoon nap schedule are essential components to thrive in Early Playschool. Parents have been preparing to transition to a one-nap schedule at home with some light and background noise to support successful naps at school.
