Your child is growing into their independence and we create an environment where they can use it.
In Playschool, we give them real opportunities to try, practice, struggle safely, communicate, repair, and try again, with adults who understand that behavior is communication.
We don’t just help children learn how to self-regulate, we model emotional awareness through co-regulation.
Two and three year olds are in an incredible stage of "I can do it myself!". They are learning that they are capable, they have a voice, and that they can participate in their community. Our Playschool environment is intentionally designed to honor that growing independence while providing the predictable rhythm, clear boundaries, and connection that they need.
Children move beyond the earliest toddler stage into more complex practical life experiences, language & communication, social relationships, creative exploration, and increasingly independent care of themselves and their environment.
At this age, learning happens through movement, imitation, repetition, relationships, and meaningful participation in everyday life. This class is more Waldorf-focused with daily rhythms and Montessori infusions. They practice Grace & Courtesy, caring for classroom materials, and social emotional skills.
Mastering toilet learning is supported as a developmental process rather than treated as a milestone through consistency between home and school. Children are supported in developing body awareness, confidence, and increasing independence.
This class is designed for children who are developmentally ready for a more independent toddler environment. Children do not need to have fully mastered toilet learning.
